  WORST FOOD EVER!!!!! i got the seafood platter and it tasted like frozen fish. the seafood was terrible. the tea tasted like ocean/clorine water. it was a horrible and unpleasant experience and the service was bad. i would recommend going to mcdonald's instead. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

  We had a very nice waitress, Rita. The fish tacos were fairly good not the best I've ever had, but had a positive experience with the staff to give a 5 start review. The view was amazing and the prices reasonable for being on the beach.

  The Whale's tell is right on the beach of the Gulf of Mexico. The view is the best part! You can get a cold drink with the locals in the shade or sunbathe on the sugar white sand. In the winter it is the best place to watch the sunset. The food is just okay.

  Worst restaurant experience I've ever had. If I could give it zero stars I would. I don't usually write reviews, but had to on this one. We thought the location was nice and that's the only nice thing about it. The food at your local ballpark concession stand is 10x better. The price was outrageous. I ordered tuna dip as an appetizer expecting a hot sea food dip when it came out it was a small portion of a cold can of tuna mixed with mayo & served with some saltine crackers. It cost $11. The tuna I make my family for sandwiches at home isn't even that basic. The French fries and chicken fingers tasted like they were from a bag of premade frozen just warmed in an oven there is no way it was hand battered and fried fresh. Just disgusting. My kids are ages 2 and 5 and wouldn't even eat their food. The worst part is we were there on our last night of vacation my entire family gathered to say farewell until next summer and my husband wanted to pay for everyone to have a nice meal, and it was so disappointing. In addition to the food being disgusting and grossly overpriced it wasn't clean. We sat close to a bathroom and the smell was awful I took my 5 year old to the bathroom & it was so dirty I told her we would have to stop by a gas station instead. I don't know how this place could possibly stay in business and was shocked to see it had three stars. Had I gotten the same quality food from a drive thru window I would have been upset. Don't eat here! The only way I could see going here is stopping in for a drink off of the beach. Save your money!
